Tap the field book icon in the top left, then tap New Session. Each session represents a separate day or job site.
HI = Benchmark elevation + Backsight rod reading (or minus, if the rod is below the benchmark). Enter your benchmark and backsight values on the main screen and the HI is calculated automatically.
Open the Field Book, tap the session you want to export, then tap the Export PDF button. You can share it via email, AirDrop, or save it to Files.
Yes. The custom keyboard lets you enter values in decimal feet, feet and inches, or feet, inches, and fractions to the nearest 1/16". Type your number first, then tap FT, IN, or the fraction button to assign the unit.
SurveyNotes stores all data locally on your device. We recommend regularly exporting important sessions as PDFs to keep a copy outside the app.
Yes — SurveyNotes works completely offline. No internet connection or account is required.
